My name is Mae Green, I am a mother, a wife (sort of… but more about that later), a daughter, a sister, a lover of animals and nature. I have experienced the deepest potholes and the brightest rainbows in life and everything in between. Always looking at life as a journey and in the most positive light I can, and raising those up around me, however we all hit potholes, really deep ones that tear us up from time to time, and I am no stranger to those either. I’m real, while I try to be positive, it’s not always positive when you’re being honest with yourself and with others. I use sarcasm as a tool to lighten the situation and to get my point across more often than not.
So often the things that happen in my life are unusual, I draw the crazies, that’s for damn sure! The response to my stories amongst friends and family is “Oh my gosh, you should write a book. The craziest things happen to you.” Or “You need a reality show.” Well I’m not quite cut out for reality shows, and my memory is not of the caliber necessary to write a book, besides, who wants to sit-down and read page after page of someone elses life? I’m not famous, I’m a nobody. But if I share it here, you can come and go as you please and identify with whatever and maybe find a little light in your day laughing at my own reality.
Sometimes I may be feeling a little deeper than others. I love to share my passions, maybe you’ll relate, maybe we’ll all learn something. Life is after all about learning, right?
I never intend to hurt anyone’s feelings, I try my best to tread very lightly, although I’ll be honest, I have very limited patience with rude people and/or stupidity. I don’t mean stupidity regarding those who are not as well educated, nor do I mean those who just have a disability, I mean those who think they know it all and shove it down anyone’s throat they can, that come across rude, and immature, that is my definition of stupidity!
So sit down, buckle up and I hope you enjoy the ride! If you feel the need to puke, just grab a bucket, this ride doesn’t stop, though we may slow it down just enough to push you out! Ha ha!
